1. How can I vote for my favorite creators or films?
FILMINITY offers a simple and engaging voting system to support creators:
Option 1: From the Movie Page
- Open the movie or short film.
- Tap "Vote Now".
- A pop-up will display the list of creators.
- Tap a creator’s profile to cast your vote.
- A red badge will indicate a successful vote.
Option 2: From the Vote Page
- Visit the Vote page.
- Browse movie posters.
- Tap "Vote Now" to open the same voting pop-up.
- Vote for the creator directly.
2. Is my donation tax-exempt?
Currently, donations made through FILMINITY are not tax-exempt. Here's why:
- Donations go directly to the creator’s account or UPI ID.
- FILMINITY does not collect, store, or process donations.
- We cannot issue receipts or tax certificates.
If the creator is part of a recognized charitable organization, users may contact them directly for any tax-related questions.
3. How long does it take for a submitted movie to get approved?
Every movie submitted on FILMINITY undergoes a content and quality check.
- Approval Time: 24–48 hours
- You’ll receive a notification once your submission is reviewed.
Ensure you provide accurate details and credits to avoid delays.
4. How do I submit a movie?
To submit your movie or short film on FILMINITY:
- Login to your FILMINITY account.
- Navigate to the Account page.
- You’ll see several section cards (e.g., Submit a Movie, Apply for Feature Badge).
- Tap on the “Apply” button under Movie Submission.
- The official submission form will open — fill in the details and submit.
⚠️ Important: You must submit your film only on the official FILMINITY website (filminity.com). Do not fill any external forms claiming to represent FILMINITY. We never collect submissions outside our platform.
5. What is a Feature Badge?
A Feature Badge highlights your film and boosts its visibility on FILMINITY:
- Featured movies are shown in a dedicated “Featured” section on the home page.
- This badge increases audience attention and discovery.
- Helps your film stand out among others on the platform.
Creators can apply for a feature badge through the Account Page > Feature Badge section.
6. How does Crowdfunding Work on FILMINITY?
FILMINITY supports creators in raising funds for upcoming films or creative projects.
For Creators:
- Login and go to your Account page.
- Click on the “Apply” button under Crowdfunding.
- Fill the crowdfunding request form, including:
- Project title
- Budget plan
- Purpose of funds
- Bank/UPI details
- Supporting visuals or pitch video (optional)
- After approval, your campaign will go live on the Crowdfunding section of FILMINITY.
For Supporters:
- Visit the Crowdfunding page.
- Browse ongoing campaigns.
- Read project details and support directly using the creator’s provided account or UPI.
