Content Licensing & Copyright Agreement
Effective for All Film Submissions on FILMINITY

This agreement outlines the legal understanding between FILMINITY ("we", "our", or "the Platform") and the content creators/filmmakers ("you", "your", or "content owner") regarding the submission, licensing, and streaming of films or video content on the FILMINITY platform.
By submitting a movie, short film, or creative video to FILMINITY, you agree to abide by the terms below.
1. Copyright Ownership
You retain full copyright ownership of your submitted content.
- FILMINITY does not claim any ownership rights over your video, story, screenplay, music, or artwork.
- You are free to publish or license your film elsewhere at any time.
2. License to Stream on FILMINITY
You grant FILMINITY a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to display, embed, and promote your film on the FILMINITY platform.
- The license is valid for an initial period of 3 months from the publishing date on the platform.
- After the 3-month term, you may:
- Request removal of the film, or
- Request a license extension through our support team.
3. Original Content Responsibility
You certify that your submitted content is original and that you either:
- Own all rights, OR
- Have obtained written permission/licenses for music, footage, and visuals used.
You agree to indemnify FILMINITY from any legal claims arising from unauthorized use of copyrighted material.
4. Promotional Rights
FILMINITY reserves the right to use:
- Posters, thumbnails, or stills
- Short clips (up to 30 seconds)
- Creator bios and titles
…for non-commercial promotional purposes, including showcasing on social media, banners, and featured sections.
5. Content Takedown & Removal
FILMINITY reserves the right to remove content without prior notice under the following circumstances:
- Copyright violation or plagiarism
- Offensive, illegal, or harmful content
- Valid DMCA or takedown request
You may also request removal of your film at any time by emailing:
support@filminity.com (allow up to 7 days for processing)
6. No Revenue Sharing or Monetization by FILMINITY
FILMINITY does not host or monetize content directly.
- Any donation or crowdfunding amounts collected via the platform go directly to your provided account or UPI.
- FILMINITY is not responsible for how funds are handled after transfer.
7. YouTube Embedding Policy
To reduce server costs and improve accessibility, FILMINITY embeds submitted videos using YouTube’s official embed functionality.
By submitting your film, you confirm:
- Your video is uploaded to YouTube with embedding enabled.
- You are the owner of the YouTube channel, or have obtained legal permission to embed the video.
- Your video must remain public and embeddable during the license period.
⚠️ Note: If your video is:
- Set to private
- Deleted
- Made unlisted without consent
- Embedding is disabled on YouTube
…then the video will no longer be visible on FILMINITY, and we may remove your movie listing.
8. Viewer Disclaimer (For Movie Pages)
A disclaimer will be displayed on each embedded video stating:
“This film is embedded via YouTube. All rights belong to the original creator or uploader. FILMINITY does not host or store this video directly.”
9. Legal Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Gurumatakal, Karnataka.
