Donation & Crowdfunding Policy

At FILMINITY, we provide a platform that connects creators of independent films and short films with audiences and supporters. This Donation & Crowdfunding Policy explains how donations and crowdfunding activities function on our platform and outlines responsibilities for both users (donors/supporters) and creators.

1. Nature of Donations and Crowdfunding on FILMINITY

FILMINITY enables users to voluntarily donate or contribute to crowdfunding campaigns to support creators and their projects.

• All donations and crowdfunding payments are made directly to the creators or their team’s bank accounts, UPI IDs, or third-party payment links provided by them.
• FILMINITY does not collect, hold, or transfer any part of the donation or crowdfunding amount.
• We act only as a facilitator, providing a digital platform where creators can share their work and receive support.

2. No Guarantees or Endorsements

FILMINITY does not guarantee that any project will be completed or that promised deliverables (if any) will be fulfilled.

• Donations or crowdfunding contributions are not purchases, investments, or loans, and do not entitle the donor to ownership, shares, or guaranteed returns.
• FILMINITY does not endorse or verify the financial claims, timelines, or reward promises made by creators.

3. Creator Responsibilities

Creators receiving donations or crowdfunding through FILMINITY agree to:

• Use funds solely for the purpose described in their project.
• Be transparent and honest about project progress and challenges.
• Respond to donor/supporter inquiries in a timely and respectful manner.
• Provide clear bank or payment details and ensure they are secure and accurate.

Any misuse of funds or fraudulent activity may lead to:

• Account suspension or permanent ban from FILMINITY
• Legal action, depending on the severity of misconduct
• Public notice or warnings issued to users about the creator

4. Donor/User Responsibilities

By donating or contributing to a project:

• You acknowledge that your support is voluntary and based on your trust in the creator.
• You accept that there is no obligation for FILMINITY to refund, mediate, or intervene in disputes unless there is clear evidence of fraud.
• You agree to exercise discretion and perform due diligence before making any monetary contribution.

5. No Refunds for Donations and Contributions

Since FILMINITY does not process or manage donation funds, we cannot offer refunds for:

• Change of mind by the donor
• Project delays, failures, or cancellations
• Disagreements between donors and creators
• Lack of response or engagement from creators

6. Reporting and Safety

We are committed to maintaining a safe and transparent platform. If you notice:

• A fake or suspicious campaign
• A creator requesting private/off-platform payments
• Misuse of donation funds or false claims

7. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in laws, platform features, or community practices. Continued use of FILMINITY after such updates indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
