Filminity Rating System (SFRCEX - N)
At FILMINITY, we believe that every film deserves to be judged on its true cinematic merit — not on marketing, reach, or popularity. To ensure fairness, we use the SFRCEX - N Rating System, a transparent grading model designed to evaluate movies with precision and consistency.
1. SFRCEX - N Movie Grades
- S – Signature Movie (Rating 9.5 to 10)
- F – Frame Worthy Movie (Rating 9.0 to 9.5)
- R – Remarkable Movie (Rating 8.5 to 9.0)
- C – Cinematic Impact Movie (Rating 7.8 to 8.5)
- E – Elevated Attempt Movie (Rating 7.0 to 7.8)
- X – Experimental Vision Movie (Rating 6.0 to 7.0)
- N – Notable Attempt Movie (Rating 5.5 to 6.0)
2. The Z Grade Rule
Z – Zero Impact Movie: Movies that fall under this grade are considered to have no lasting cinematic impact. Such projects will not receive Filminity Approval. This ensures our platform maintains quality and credibility.
3. Rating Factors (7 Key Parameters)
Each movie is carefully analyzed by our review team across seven critical areas, with in-depth professional evaluation:
- Story / Screenplay – The way the story and screenplay are written, how effectively they convey emotions, pacing, depth, and overall narrative structure.
- Performances / Acting – Not limited to lead roles; includes supporting actors, background artists, and side characters, ensuring every performance contributes to the film’s impact.
- Music, Songs & Sound – Evaluation of music composition, lyrics (if present), background score (BGM), sound effects (SFX), and their integration with the film’s mood.
- Production Value – Judged not by budget, but by how well resources are used. Includes authenticity of locations and sets, quality of costumes, props, and makeup, and the overall visual aesthetics, continuity, and detailing that support the story.
- Technical Quality – Based on editing, cinematography, dubbing, lip-syncing, sound mixing, and other vital technical contributions.
- Overall Film Quality – Includes colour grading, picture clarity, visual consistency, and additional professional finishing factors that define the final cinematic output.
- Direction – The vision of the director, execution style, ability to handle performances, narrative flow, and originality of story presentation. This reflects the creative leadership behind the project.
4. Filminity Review Process
Every movie is reviewed carefully by 3–5 members of the FILMINITY team. Ratings are given only after a detailed analysis of the film’s content, creativity, and hard work. Our ratings are not influenced by views, marketing, or recommendations — only the movie’s true value matters.
5. FAQ
Why don’t users give ratings on Filminity?
We value fairness for independent films. Often, great films go unnoticed due to lack of marketing or reach, which lowers their ratings unfairly. On the other hand, average movies with strong marketing may receive inflated ratings. To avoid this injustice, Filminity Ratings are given only by our internal review team, ensuring every film is judged by its true cinematic merit.
