The Bag

The Bag is an experimental short film that combines suspense, raw storytelling, and the spirit of indie cinema.

Shot entirely on an iPhone with just a ₹2000 budget, the film tells the story of two friends who unknowingly get trapped in a dangerous game when a mysterious bag enters their lives — what lies inside could cost them everything.

The film stars Abhiram in the main lead, Mounika as the female lead, Surya as the loyal friend, Chandra as a determined police officer, and Maharshi as the menacing villain.

Behind the camera, Arun Kumar drives the vision as Director, Story & Script Writer, Editor, Producer, D.O.P, and Sound Mixer, while Abhiram also contributes his skills in VFX and Editing.

Crafted around the natural personalities of passionate non-actors from the locality, The Bag is a bold attempt that redefines conventional filmmaking and keeps viewers hooked from the very first two minutes until the thrilling end.
