THE GENESIS

The Genesis is an intense and poetic Telugu cinematic short film/web series that unravels the emotional evolution born from suffering.

Guided by the theme “In the womb of pain, creation awakened,” the story follows individuals who are shattered by their inner darkness yet discover strength, purpose, and identity through that very struggle.

As their lives collide, pain becomes the catalyst for transformation, and every moment of despair becomes a step toward awakening.

The narrative blends raw emotion, symbolic visuals, and lyrical storytelling to portray how wounds turn into wisdom and how darkness, when embraced, becomes the seed of creation.

Starring Deepa Rathod, Arjun, and Rohith Sai, each performance intensifies the film’s haunting journey of self-realization.

Written & Directed by Rohith Sai, the film is brought to life with striking visuals by DOP Hitesh Sawai, soul-stirring music by Mohanish Chandravanshi, and powerful production support from Padma Godavarthi under Sri Snap Studios.
