Welcome to FILMINITY (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using www.filminity.com or any of our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the Platform. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use our services.

1. Definitions

• User – Any individual or entity accessing the Platform for browsing, voting, donating, or reviewing.
• Creator – Any user submitting films, short films, or project content to the Platform.
• Content – Any text, video, image, review, rating, or project submitted or published on the Platform.
• Donation – A voluntary financial contribution made by a User to support a Creator or project.
• Crowdfunding – A campaign created by a Creator to raise funds for a specific film or creative project.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or using FILMINITY, you agree to:

• Abide by these Terms and any policies referenced herein (Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, etc.)
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account or submitting content

3. User Account and Eligibility

Users must be at least 13 years old to access FILMINITY.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or attempts to misuse Platform features.

4. Submitting Films or Projects (For Creators)

Creators may submit independent films, short films, or creative projects via our official submission forms.

• Submissions will be reviewed within 24–48 hours for approval.
• Submitted content must be original, legally owned by the Creator, and free of copyright violations.
• By submitting content, you grant FILMINITY a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, promote, and stream your content on the Platform.

5. Voting, Reviews, and Badges

Registered users can vote for creators (actors, directors, etc.) associated with listed projects.

• Ratings and reviews must be honest, respectful, and not defamatory or abusive.
• Feature Badges and Review Badges are optional premium features and require a separate request and verification process.

6. Donations and Crowdfunding

Donations made to creators or projects are voluntary and are generally non-refundable.

• FILMINITY does not guarantee any rewards or returns from donations or crowdfunding.
• Creators must provide accurate and honest information when requesting crowdfunding. Misuse may lead to permanent suspension.
• We are not responsible for disputes between Users and Creators involving money or project delivery.

7. Content Ownership and Licensing

You retain ownership of any content you upload. However, by submitting content, you grant FILMINITY the right to:

• Host, stream, display, and promote your content on the Platform
• Use submitted materials (images, posters, trailers) for promotional purposes

You agree that your content does not infringe on any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Post or upload any content that is illegal, obscene, threatening, or defamatory
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Hack, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or harmful scripts
• Manipulate ratings, reviews, or votes
• Use the Platform for fraudulent crowdfunding or financial scams

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or legal action.

9. Platform Modifications and Availability

FILMINITY may modify, update, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, without prior notice.

• We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions, maintenance, or downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• FILMINITY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.
• We do not guarantee success, funding, or audience for any content or project submitted to the Platform.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FILMINITY, its team, partners, affiliates, and service providers from any claim, demand, loss, or damage arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Infringement of any intellectual property or privacy rights of a third party

12. Intellectual Property Rights

All trademarks, branding, logos, and design elements on the Platform are the property of FILMINITY or its licensors.

• Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically under the jurisdiction of the courts of Gurumatakal, Karnataka.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time if:

• You breach these Terms
• You misuse any features of the Platform
• Legal or regulatory reasons require us to do so

15. Changes to the Terms

FILMINITY reserves the right to update or revise these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting. Continued use of the Platform implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
